Layout demos (try it)

Intent

Open Terminal is a multi-mode host. The HCI-Nerdz shell-context-demo is a facsimile desk for those modes: enough chrome to feel the workflow, not a fake OS window manager.

Real windowing stays in open-terminal / dew.

Prompt desk

You type; path / user / host / app tokens stay visible so you always know which project and machine you are on.

/prompt

Standalone

Classic Terminal-like: tabs and the live session share one window. Several shells for one job without scattering windows.

/standalone

Decoupled index

A calling window holds tabs and thumbnails; each live session is a separate window you focus and arrange. Launcher separate from the panes you watch.

/decoupled

Project manager

Terminals spawned from DevCentr projects sit in a vertical, project-grouped manager. The DevCentr grid highlights the owning project and dulls the rest.

/manager

Nested zones

Sessions tile inside zone windows that stay inside the app. Spawn or delete a zone; group membership stays stable when the display moves — contained tiling, not an OS WM.

/zones

Association

A running session registers with another UI (index or manager) and can offer thumbnails. Re-associate supervision without killing the work.
